WTB - 2004 or 2005 Chevy Silverado Factory CD Deck

My dad has a 2004 Silverado 1500 Work Truck that did not come with a CD player. I am looking for a factory CD player (Delco) from a 2004 or 2005 Silverado to replace his factory radio with. If anyone has more information on what exactly will fit his model, let me know. As far as I know, the 2003 and earlier models had a slightly different radio that won't fit. Also, if it is replaced with an aftermarket cd player, a new module that controls the chime for the doors, etc. has to be added. I do not want to go the aftermarket route. Thanks!

you could always try the dealer, but an arm and a leg it will cost you.



Did you try local wrecking yards.

good Idea Austin, I know it will be hard for Wedgie to go there but he can get his dad some good stuff.
