It's not a promise and wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy behind schedule so I won't get too excited about it. I'm sure all the others will be offering the same kind of retro by then too....
I'm still in the red from replacing the front and rear differentials that NISSAN engineers mis-designed and have the new updated exhaust manifolds sitting in the garage waiting to be installed......all NOT under warranty or "good will".....
I learned from NISSAN to NOT buy a first year vehicle the hard way.
Any new vehicle requires a hefty sales tax and property taxes for years...all needs to be added to the cost of investing in one and all a major consideration when working part time which I will most likely be doing and the economy may never turn around.
Good to see a change in the Titan but slow to happen
The issue is, that you are paying a 10k premium for a diesel engine in trucks, then because of taxes paying 25% more at the pump. I hope those a-holes in washington will stop screwing with useful technology. They made the barrier to entry too high IMO.
Nissan has been talking diesel Titan since 2001/2/3/4/5/6/7/8/9...You get the picture. International, then Cumins, Mercedes perhaps. This was news to me, but we never get the truth until we are working on it. Then we cannot talk til it is officially released. I can say we are not working on it, cause we aren't! Doesn't mean it won't happen though.

thats y you call Kev lol. Give it up bro. I suppose they will offer this in the new van
It's the perfect engine for the commercial NV van, and it makes good sense that they would put it in the Titan too (or the other way around). Spread the costs around, as much as possible. The big question is .... what will it cost? <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt019' />

Lat article I read they had a beta engin in a Titan that was pulled off the assy line. If it comes out it will definitely be my next truck, I'm driving a Jetta TDI right now.
woohoo, that's more power coming our way but I guess that also means that we will have to dig deeper into our pockets in terms of fuel and getting a new truck anyways, that is enough reason for celebrating according to me
