Well i dont really know this man or his family but this Marine is with my unit I actually picked him up from the airport around Jan time frame and issued his weapon. I ask that you all pray for his family during this tuff time. I read in the Marine Times that he died March 14th in Kabul, Afghan.

sorry to hear about this Daniel. Every year on Memorial day since I was a little boy my dad( United States Army Airborne Ret.) and I have gone out to the local post office at about 7 am and set chairs, tents, and audio equipment so that the local VFW can make sure that all those who have died are remembered on that day. I sometimes have not wanted to wake up at 7am on a day off from school but I think of stories like this where a soldier has died in combat and it makes me remember why I do it. SSgt Archie taylor will be remembered in Earlysville VA. this may I just sent my dad this link and he says That the Staff Sargent has been added to the list of men and womens names to be read on May 25th in my hometown.

No thanks necessary Daniel anything for a fellow upstanding member of the armed services such as yourself. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/023.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' /> Plus the fact that you are titan owner did not hurt. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' />

I just wanted to resurrect this thread quickly to say that SSgt Taylor's name along with almost 150 others was solemnly said today. He along with the others was remembered today in Earlysville, Va. I will post pictures but not in this thread becuase that would seem rude.
