PRG INSTALL

Check this out. I got an advance Xmas present. My PRG kit! I stopped by the dealer and just mentioned to them about installing my PRG. They have done some lifts on their trucks on the lot so I thought I would ask. Their so called expert told me it would take six hours to install. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt017' /> Now someone without the Titan Spot experience may have bought this line but I knew better. I said, "dude six hours to remove the coil bucket, screw on the spacer and change out the bumper stop will take you six hours?" He said he would have to turn the plate? I just laughed and said no thanks. At an hourly rate of $85, they would have screwed me. I'll just break out the jack and get dirty.

That would be your dinner plate. The tech was going to turn it into an empty one for the next couple of weeks! Friggin' crook!

Exactly! That's when I decided that I could do just as good of a job. He also said that I should box up my PRG kit and send it back and get the one on ebay <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt017' /> . I asked him for the name but of course he didn't know it.

6 hours!!!!!!!!????? You should have kicked his arse. What does he think you are a pendejo? It took me 3 hours with smoke, beer, picture interruptions and neighbors asking why my truck is jacked up and a strut laying on my work bench.

Dude, if I can do it anyone can. I did need to use my impact wrench to remove the stabilizer bar and you will need a torque wrench. Me and the boys are here with cell phone numbers just pm us for help.

BTW I ordered my 1" rear blocks over a week ago and still have not got them yet. Greg is only an hour north of me but I think with his moving and the PRG group buy I may have been put on the back burner.

Oh well, still cant wait! <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' />
