Hmmmm. These look warlly similar to DealsOf Steel.com Nerf Bars that I recently purchased and are made in China. I wonder if they are the same with different name?

Yeah, I think that Hunter is the distributor for them. Labor prices are much cheaper in Chine, eh?

Hey Phil, didn't take you long to slide down there after the meet did it. I am glad they had them for you. I checked the web Monday and they showed to be out of stock on them. I got some pictures of my truck done today between rainstorms, and this will let everyone see the black and the stainless once you get yours up. Did you remember to get better hardware from Lowes?

Yup, thanks for the tip. I checked out the site and they showed out of stock, so I called Hunter 4X4 direct, they had them.

Hunter is located in Stafford, they appear to be the provider for dealers. Went by yesterday and picked them up. Will try to get tehm on this Friday, if it doesn't rain too much.

That is the same place I got mine it looks like. They must run under a couple of names. You will also need a small flat head screw driver to pop out the plastic plugs they have in the body taps. I would recommend putting the brackets on first, then attaching the nerf bar. Trial by error already done for you. Two go near the front, then skip to the rear most holes for the third. Best of Luck to ya. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt001' /> <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' />

Go it installed! On the extended cabs you use the last stud, on the crew cabs, use the second to last...

Ok, they're on!!!

Here's the evidence:

First look under the the skirt shows the stud and the cap over the recessed threads.

Removed the thread protector to reveal the threads.

Never hurts to have a little LockTite...

Bracket installed

Done!!!

Overall Shot, dirt and all ...

Have to say it was an easy kit to install, all the hardware was provided. All you'll need is an allen wrench, screwdriver and a deep socket and driver.
