It sure was quick. The brightness of the brake LED's is brighter than the bulbs that they replaced. However, the cargo lamps are not as bright. The are MUCH whiter, however. I also noticed the obvious delay between the LED's and the incandescent bulbs in the tail lamps. The LED's fire off considerably quicker.

Dim cargo lamp is no matter to me with the cover on my bed it is of no use. Gotta do a lighting mod in my bed. Hmmm.. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt002' />

It's very simple. The back of the brake lamp is only attached with two nuts that can be accessed from inside the cab. You simply remove the two plastic cover plates from inside and stick a socket (I can't remember what size) on an extension and remove the two nuts. Once removed, go to the bed of the truck and grab the lamp. it actually comes out by pulling more in an upward motion than an outward motion. Once out, it is simply plug and play. Unplug the harness from your brake lamp and plug in the new ones. As far as the lights, they all work exactly as yours do now. The cargo lamps only come on if you turn them on from inside the truck or when you disarm with the keyfob. The brake lights only come on when the brake pedal is depressed. Check all the pics above. There's a picture with only the cargo lamps lit. That should clear it up for you.

Looks Awesome V... Did you do the blinking brake light mod(with the OEM 3rd light)?...and if so did you leave it on with the new LEDs?

Same here, I wouldn't mind seeing one with all brake LED. As for bed lighting, I got a cheap $12 "tractor light" and mounted in the bed.

My OEM light already had the flasher mod. I did not do it to this one. I'll see if I can't get some night shots this evening.

Got it at the local Autozone.  I just tapped it into the tailgate light so it come on with the cargo light also.

Here's also another idea for cargo lights.http://www.reconaccessories.com/Bed%20Rail...%20Lighting.htm
Now that is cool! Thanks Did you have to drill to run the wire?
No drilling require, there's a rubber grommet right there that let me pass the wire through.

Sorry V for the thread jacking. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt004' />
