I installed my new diff cover today. The install took about an hour, the reusable gasket from may hytech is awesome. I put 4 quarts of Mobil 1in with this cover. I also removed my side V8 emblems because im getting ready to install some fender flares soon. Here are some pics

Nice bro,.... <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/004.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' /> BTW nice #44 serial #. They number them sequentially.. I am #34. I love the look and can only imagine the view on a lifted Titan. Nice clean truck too. Man, you really went to town. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/002.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt002' />

So what's the feedback on your cover and fluid level and how did you secure the brake-line on top of the cover and.......is this the only way to see a pic. of your truck these days?...... <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' /> You still have it right?.... <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt020' /> <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/006.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt018' />

Got my MAG installed today... easy cheesy.. Had to move my 35" tall Mud Terrain spare back into the bed...tire was a little close with the OEM Finned cover...I'm sure it would hit the MAG when wheelin or with a load in the bed. Thanks again Poot!

Yo, that's some clean looking gear oil coming out of there - how old was that gear oil? That sucks about your spare. I just realized we have the same color truck if that's Deepwater Blue.

Top shelf cover and looking good there scottsbro23. What made you decide to spend the bucks and spring for the Mag-Hytec cover?

I might jump for the 2005+ cover if I ever get around to it. Most likely I'll never get around to it, though <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/081.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt081' />

I'm actually partial to Red Brawn, the color of my original T, but the Deepwater Blue is a nice color too. A little more conservative than my personality, though...

JD, are you driving around with an original smooth steel diff cover.? I had one of those steel diff covers on my 2004 Titan and when I changed my rear to a True-Trac at about 22K miles. I had only driven my truck around town for very short trips and had had a about four trips from Georgia to Virginia and back, about 450 miles one way, and my diff fluid was as black as blackstrap molasses at the time of my True Trac install. You should have canned that diff cover a long time ago as it is bad news for the longevity of your rear diff.

Yeah, I've got the original cover on there. I figure with winter coming up it's good timing to do a little prevent maintenance!
