I installed my Sirius satellite antenna the other day and took a few pics. These are just some pics of the antenna. I didn't take any pics of the receiver install yet. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/004.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt004' />

First thing you need to do is remove the two plastic plugs from the headliner.

Once they are removed you will need an 8mm deep socket w/extension or a nut driver. Remove the two nuts up inside the holes. (one in each hole)

Now you can remove the third brake light from outside. It will be tight because of the gasket, but the light will come right out with a good tug. Don't tug too hard though, cuz you will have to unplug the wire still. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/002.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt017' />

Now you can mount the antenna centered on the roof and run the wire down into the cab.

Once the antenna is mounted to your liking and the wire is in the cab you can reinstall the third brake light. The finished product should look like this. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' />

Now you can run the wire up to the front. I just ran it along the headliner on the passenger side under the molding, down to the dash and then under the dash to the center console, or were ever you want it to go to.

thanks qwikie...im planning on doing my install in the spring time and the wire under the molding is a good idea. I was thinking of running it along the floor under the sills and such but you might have made me change my mind.

This way is much faster and easier. I ran both the Titan and the Mountaineer this way. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/002.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt017' />

Good job QWIKWHIP!! That is basically how I ran my Sirius antennae wire. I did the roof EXACTLY like you did, but then I ran my wire down the inside of the trim panels on the drivers side and then under the door sill up to the underside of the dash. Good pics man!! I would have done all that except I found out from the guy in best buy that sirius had a 5 year warranty on the antenna. But hten they found out that if you live in the haotter climates like the west coast that the antenna may last as littel as a year so I just ran min from the roof right above the door down the side of the windsheild under the water seal and then tthrough the firewall and up to the receiver which is richt above the radio in mine

Hmm, I've never heard that DC. But even so, it still only took me about 20 minutes to install it this way. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/002.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt020' />

ohh it sounded it like it took longer from your first post but I guess I could have done it your way and have been done sooner
