Challenger Rails

Just installed these Challenger rails. Have to say my OEM rails were much stronger. Not to thrilled with having just 2 brackets to hold them in place.

I was informed that MAP who makes the rails is out of business. I was going to see if I could buy another set of hardware.

I am trying to add my pics.......

Hi Nick, welcome to the board. I noticed that you actually posted this twice. I'm sure a mod will be along to fix it, however notice that you can edit your posts at any time.

As for the step rails, sorry to hear about the weak fit. I'm not a fan of them myself. Do they meet up to all the factory mount locations? It might not be too difficult to fab a bracket up.

Welcome to the Spot, Nick. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/006.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt005' />

I'm assuming you're talking about the step rail. Why did you get rid of the OEM rails that were much stronger?

FYI, I puchased the DealsOfSteel Nerf bars ($189 shipped) for my KC Titan and they were mounted with powder coated brackets on the two ends with the bolts that hold the bed to the truck. The center of the step was mounted with a J hook that connected to a slot in the truck frame on the one end and the other end is connected to the step with a washer and nut. My steps, although they move slightly when stepped on, seem more than adequately secure.

I certainly feel that three mounting positions on the KC is preferable to two.
