Best Exhaust upgrade for Towing

I have read a number of forums regarding exhaust upgrades. I am looking for the one that works best for towing. Seems there are a lot of options as well as brands.

I already have an AEM Brute Force installed, but nothing else (except a Red Engine Cover, that adds a couple of horses, eh?)

OMG, you will get a thousand opinions...... Towing? Exhaust helping that? I dont think anything will make a difference.. I have a stainless cat back from Zoomers and love it? I still get compiments/comments from big 3 guys about how sweet my truck sounds... Oh, I tow a 8k Travel trailer and a 3k boat.............. And a Ford now and then............ <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/003.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' />

they are all about the same. since you're an 09 with VVT i would suggest to stick with a muffler swap (cheaper). But, if you just want towing and almost close to zero highway than a single in/out muffler. oh, and try and keep the tube diamter between 2"to 2.25".

Since you're towing torque is going to be very important. Keep the pipe diameter small and you'll be golden. The Zoomers is a great exhaust as Krh2 suggested. I'd also look at the JBA or just the muffler swap as Pinoy suggested. Maybe do a muffler swap and use the rest of the cash to buy a programer or Uprev...

I like the idea of a muffler swap (and getting the programmer, which is another debate in itself). Which Muffler? It looks like stock is a 2 in 1 out. I have not measured the diameters, but most of the replacements I've seen so far seem to be 1 in 1 out.. I am not keen on a Glass Pac type, I think I prefer the bigger open cans.
