I know a few people on this forum use "Amsoil" in their Titans!! I am interested in purchasing their products, but was curious If I have to buy over the internet, or do any retailers, like "Pep Boys, Autozone, R&S Strauss, etc." carry Amsoil products??

Anybody know a good source, If I purchase over the "net"??

I found it at full retail at a local speed shop and then I signed up to get the discounts and it's well worth it.

They have all the filters and fluids a Titan can drink..........and just got the approval for the transmission fluid as well.

My sig. is full of their products for the Titan and my MPG data is still excellent and unchanged.

You may want to use the lower end synthetic Amsoil for the first 2 engine oil changes and dump them at 5-7,500K to get rid of any sludge in your engine then use the high end Series 2000 0-30W.

I can tell you their fluids last a very long time and I'm sticking with their products. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/004.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt004' />

Once you find one and sign up you can buy from them locally at discount.

Talking with a local speed shop that knows the product line will get you lots of good information as well.

Question Keeps, When you said you "signed up to get the discounts", Does that mean you pay the $20 a year to become a preferred customer?? I keep seeing the offer..."Become a preferred customer and buy at wholesale prices"...Just wondering If the savings justifies the annual fee?? <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/017.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' />

Yes......the $20 also gets newsletters with new product info. Changing all the fluids/filters should justify the cost so I think it is well worth it. <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/001.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt003' /> <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/004.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt004' />

Amsoil is a good product, have used the motor oil 5w30 and severe gear in my diff's for a long time. When I get the True Trac broke in good I will change it out with SG Amsoil. Found a good deal on Pennzoil YB last oil change so I have that in the crankcase right now.
