That is the intent, soon as I get the new Harley I am in the market for a 26 TT toy hauler for them. So there is the need for trans diff and oil temps. The sending unit Kev I got from here http://prosportgauges.com/oil-filter-adaptor-plate.aspx and here is the pic also of it. Has four sending unit ports, why ? I have no idea, I can only see a use for two myself, pressure and temp, no idea what they would use the other two for. Already had press, water, and trans temp internal, so now I have oil temp, trans sump temp, and diff temp. I will get a nite pic here for ya, I am using the red filter bulb since I hate blinding white or green at nite. close to the dash but not perfect, but it matches better than white or green. Plus it scares Hemi's, they never know if one is a boost gauge or not, not that we need it.
Funny right there. Maybe the extra 2 ports are for a satellite oil filter? Is that the correct term? I deff like your set up.

Well that is a thought, there is a by-pass oil filter from AMSOIL that you can do that with, however, one has to be a pressure and one a return so I don't think you could do that with those two ports. You could with one to the bypass, but have to figure out a return to the pan or wherever. If you tried to hook both to a by-pass oil filter you would have no flow due to the same pressure on both lines. Those ports would not be good enough for a full flow and only one could be used for the by-pass. The by-pass works by filtering a small amount constantly and the entire sump should be filtered again in around 5-10 minutes they say. Those by-pass filters are really small micron filters and are supposed to trap soot from the oil. That is usually only an issue with diesels but I guess it can't hurt. Still no way to hook those up anyhow. Where ya at there sponsor? Your downline guy needs help on this one LOL. I would like to do the remote full flow filter on mine, here is a install of one on an 07. Just leery of putting a filter that low where it could have an issue, but the angle doesn't show how far up it is in there. Wow I just read that by-pass has a 98.7 eff rating at 2 microns. http://www.amsoil.com/bypassfilters/2007_Nissan_Titan.pdf Only prob with that is that it increases the sump capacity to 9 quarts, heck I would have to have 3 jobs to pay for the oil in the Titan then.

Wow. Another great write up! Had to check out this section after seeing your Catch Can Install.

I noticed in the write up, a ref to AC Power. Shouldn't that be DC Power?

I've had the Pod forever, I have the prototype unit! But I never got my Gauges installed. AutoMeter Digital Cobalts. Since you said they are a tight fit, i'm going to slip them in today just to cover up the empty holes. lol. And I will reference this article to get some good pointers on wiring it all up. Very helpful to visualize how much wire is in there, and where to draw power from. That is always the big question in this type of install. Thanks again for the work. :)

What temperature are you guy's seeing using the stock pressure port? I've seen some members reporting that it doesn't get above 120*. But isn't optimum operating temp around 175*?

165* on highway... Up to 195 towing (around town it fulctuates a lot) ....... Diff got up to 195 once towing up hill for 30 miles.

However I put in a second tranny cooler..

That lowered my ave temps by 15* <img src='http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/004.gif' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':smt004' />

Thank you! Seems like those temperature readings are pretty accurate and on par with the temperature readings from the folks using the PML pan boss and those that have used one of the tranny lines. I just picked up an Autometer #2269 1/8" NPT to 1/8" BSPT, so I can install the sensor in the transmission port. Now I just need a gauge! LOL

Thanks again for the info!
