I need one too and know nothing about them. Anyone care to show some pics and power specs on one that they like. I have no good mechanics tools so the one that I do have is a Campbell Hausfeld. What a joke!!
If it's something I'm going to use a lot, I buy Craftsman. I guess it was just the way I was raised. If it's something that will see much less use, I usually get something cheap from Harbor Freight Tools. They actaully have some pretty good and cheap stuff there. Here's their page of impact wrenches: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Cate...=321&pricetype= .
What kind does Home Depot carry? I could look at their website, but this way is mo better.
Home Depot carries Campbell Hausfeld and Husky. They have several relatively capable Husky guns but I know zero about their longevity.
Well I also recommend a Craftsman. I have had numerous different "cheapies" in the past and they don't hold a candle to a good ole craftsman 1/2" impact gun. I think mine was about $100 a few years ago but it sees a fair amount of use so it was worth it. I'll have to see what model I have when I get home later.
