One more question, before I order the IPDM (and I most likely will). Since the general consensus is replace it, what is the point of the IPDM test procedure? ( Since mine passed). :smt017

btw, my truck seems to be running fine for now. :smt020 :smt004

Well I replaced my IPDM today...due to loss of tail lights, parking lights and center console lights. Fuse ports were effed up...fuse would fall out if turned upside down.

So got it replaced and all is well (as far as lights) then i get an SES light. Titancanuck came over tonight and we checked the codes... SIX of em! all relating to air/fuel...so were thinking it's due to my cracked manifold (or manifolds..not sure if both) Now here's my question... why did I not get the codes when I had the old IPDM in the truck? I still had cracked MF's.

Truck worked perfect for a bit, then died again, but started after 5 minuntes and got me home. I guess its officially time to order. If these are apparently defective, isn't it something Nissan should take care of?

Success!!

Thanks to the information here from all of you, and $110 for parts from enissanparts.com I now have a working truck again.

It took about 1/2 hour as advertised. The hardest part was getting my hands in there and popping out the 7 plugs with a small screwdriver.

Thanks, a bunch, I now know to never doubt the advice here. :smt018 ;-) :-D

Glad you have the T back in shape and reliable. Now change those spark plugs which may be fouled from the IPDM! lol.......http://www.titanspot.com/Titan/public/style_emoticons/default/006.gif
