Very Interesting. The article says the truck has an Allison transmission but it doesn't, as near as I can tell, say anything about the rear differential. If it has the same peanut of a rear end as the Titan, the troops are in a heap of trouble with this bullet proof truck.

The article said that the tires are "run-flat tires" whatever that is. Taken as written, it sounds like the vehicle may run on tires that have no air, and by definition are flat, but that is a guess. So if flattened by bullets or spikes, the tires may still function well enought to move about.

run flats are very exspensive they are in some high class cars and in all military vehicles. basically if it goes flat you can still drive on it for alit while. its some type of compound inside of the tires that is very heavy and strong it goes around the rim and fills the inside of the tire so the tire could shread off and you could still drive it aways.

Fiberglass is a strange component for building a bullet proof truck but, hey, look on the positive side, at least it won't rust out!
